Adviser to the government ministries, Armed Forces and Sovereign Wealth Funds of an East Asian country 2005+.

Adviser on Human Resource Management to the oil sector of a Gulf state 2002-2005.

Head of HRM of a major Islamic bank in Saudi Arabia 2000-2002.

Management consultant primarily involved in the HRM aspects of privatising a national telecoms company 1998-2000.

General Manager Personnel of a rapidly expanding Middle Eastern airline 1992-94.

Chief Manager Personnel and Support Services of a group of Middle Eastern banks 1986-92.

Personnel Manager of the national airline of a wealthy South East Asian state 1981-85.

 

 

 

Academic activities.


Honorary Fellow Cass Business School City University London. Member of the adjunct staff of the University of Bradford School of Management, supervising at doctoral and MBA levels. Previously supervised at MBA and Masters levels, in Business and IT, for the Graduate School of Business at the University of Strathclyde.
